HIGHLIFE ARTISTE NANA QUAME SURVIVES AN ACCIDENT ON EASTER MONDAY

The Award-winning Ghanaian highlife singer, Nana Quame was involved in a car accident on Easter Monday, March 28. The singer was returning to Accra after performing in Kwahu during the Easter festivities.

Reports show that, the car accident which nearly took the life of the singer happened when the bonnet of his car hit the windscreen unexpectedly. The incident happened few kilometers from Suhum, a town in the  Suhum-Kraboa-Coaltar District district of the Eastern Region.
According to management sources, Nana Quame is in good health with no injuries sustained. Kwaku hosted several Easter parties and festivals over the weekend. During the festivities, Nana Quame performed for fans and other prominent public figures including Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo

Henry De-Mensah aka Nana Quame was born on 22nd Feb 1978. He had his secondary school education at Presec Nungua. His talent, which was discovered in his early teens, developed through dancing, rapping and finally the aggressive young singer Nana Quame was born.

He released his debut album under Kojo Antwi’s record label Family Spirit. The Album caused a stir in the Ghanaian music scene topping the charts. His second album Odo Shock, was a phenomenon hit, it stayed on the chart for 30 weeks.
