Top 5 Torrenting alternatives to rely on after Kickass Torrents (KAT) and Torrentz shut down

Downloaders were left shocked when Torrentz.eu bid farewell to its millions of users a few days after another popular torrent search engine Kickass Torrents (KAT) shut down. The quiet death of the two largest free torrent search engines is forcing fans to go for torrenting alternatives. Here are top 5 torrenting websites fans are relying on.

According to several media outlets, the top choice among the downloaders is The Pirate Bay (TPB) after Kickass Torrents (KAT) and Torrentz closed down. According to Moring News USA, this website is considered the "top" and "most stable" KAT alternative.
The second most popular and reportedly a reliable torrenting alternative is Extra Torrent. Following the demise of Torrentz and Kickass Torrents (KAT), ExtraTorrent is gaining traction. The two websites have seen a major surge in the traffic.
Meanwhile, Torrent Freak states that The Pirate Bay (TPB) is considered as the "Godfather" of all torrent sites.
"When both TPB and its forum went down, we had overwhelming support from KAT users on their forum, and our staff were able to keep the communities updated on important news and announcements thanks to the help and messages of support we received.
"Reciprocation is only right and we hope KAT staff will keep us informed of any official news/announcements so that we can help to inform," Spud 17 of TPB told Torrent Freak.
Meanwhile, "So far we got 200% signup, and 300% traffic increase at ExtraTorrent," ET's SaM told Torrent freak after Kickass Torrents (KAT) bid goodbye.
Some other torrenting websites fans are moving towards are isoHunt.to and YTS.ag. Fans know that isoHunt.to emerged after MPAA took down isoHunt. Similarly, YTS.ag was launched after YIFY was closed down.
Another website downloaders are RarBG, also known as RBG. It was launched in 2008 and has earned 664 Alexa rank as of August 2016 despite being banned in countries like Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, Denmark, and Portugal.
According to Torrent Freak, some other popular Torrents search engine are 1337x, EZTV.ag, TorrentHound, and Torrentdownloads. In addition, Torrentz2.eu has reportedly emerged as a Torrentz alternative. The website claims itself as a clone of the largest meta-search engine that closed down on Aug. 5. The site is said to be the second phase of Torrentz, with 59,734,272 indexed torrents from 110,833,235 pages. Other Torrentz clones that have appeared are Torrentz.ec and Torrentzeu.to.
However, ExtraTorrent and The Pirate Bay (TPB) remain the top choice among the downloaders after Torrentz and KickassTorrents (KAT) for now. Rumours suggest that the remaining two largest torrenting alternatives are also facing the danger of shutting down.
