ABRAHAM ATTAH - I ALMOST GOT INTO TROUBLE SHOOTING BEASTS ON NO NATION

Abraham Attah the award-winning young actor, has publicized how featuring in Beasts of no Nations put him in trouble.
In an interview with KSM, the "King of Comedy", on Thank God Its Friday (TGIF), the young actor revealed that the embarrassing moment in his breakthrough movie Beasts of no Nation was a particular scene where a police officer forced him to stop and kicked him.
"I remember a scene where i was running and a policeman asked me to stop and kicked me because he didn't know it was a movie shoot"

"I nearly said something to the officer when I stopped but my director called me back. It was in a market and we were supposed to run through the market "

Abraham Attah was selected by the director Cary Funkanaga after auditioning for the role as a child soldier.

He has several awards to his name including: Best Male Act at the Independence Spirit Awards, NAACP image awards, Critics Choice Awards and the Venice Films Awards, Breakthrough Performance Awards by the National Board of Review he also won an award at last year's Ghana Movie Awards.
